These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Spotlight Prep (the "Service"), operated by Natal Space LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By creating an account or using the Service in any way, you agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service. By creating an account, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement and that all information you provide is accurate. You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Natal Space LLC cannot be held liable for any loss resulting from unauthorized access caused by your failure to keep your credentials secure. You may not share, transfer, or sell access to your account.
Spotlight Prep is an AI-powered career communication platform. The Service includes the following modes and tools, which vary by subscription tier:
Voice-first job interview simulations with role-specific questions, timed sessions, and AI-scored debriefs. Includes Quick Sessions (5 questions) and Full Simulations (10 questions).
Rapid-fire drill mode for individual interview questions with immediate AI feedback.
Resume Coach (bullet analysis and rewrites), Elevator Pitch Coach, Company Research, and Skills & Achievements tracking.
AI role-play for performance reviews, 1:1s, difficult conversations, and promotion pitches, with tone and clarity scoring.
Rehearsal for board presentations, all-hands, and investor updates with a skeptical AI audience and executive presence debrief.
We reserve the right to modify, add, or discontinue features at any time. Material changes to features included in a paid plan will be communicated with reasonable advance notice.
You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in any way that violates these Terms. Prohibited behaviors include but are not limited to:
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these policies, with or without notice, at our sole discretion.
The Service is offered on the following subscription tiers as of the effective date of these Terms:

Billing. Paid subscriptions are billed in advance on a monthly basis. Billing is processed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring basis until you cancel.
Cancellation. You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will retain access to paid features until that date.
Refunds. Paid subscriptions are generally non-refundable except where required by applicable law. If you believe you were charged in error, contact us within 14 days at spotlightprepgpt@gmail.com.
Price changes. We reserve the right to change subscription pricing. We will provide at least 30 days' notice before price changes affect active subscribers.
Free tier limits. Free tier usage limits (e.g., session counts per week, lookups per day) may be adjusted over time. We will communicate material reductions to free tier limits with at least 14 days' notice.
The Holiday Interview Pass is a $7.99 one-time payment that grants 30 days of Basic-level access. It does not renew. The offer is available from November 1, 2026 through January 31, 2027. Pass purchases are non-refundable except where required by applicable law.

All feedback, scoring, question generation, and coaching content in the Service is generated by Artificial Intelligence. AI outputs may be incomplete, inaccurate, or inconsistent. The Service is designed for practice and skill development only.
Natal Space LLC does not guarantee specific interview outcomes, job offers, salary results, or career advancement. Feedback provided by the Service reflects AI analysis of your responses and should not be treated as professional career, legal, or psychological advice. You are solely responsible for decisions you make based on feedback received through the Service.
The AI may generate follow-up questions, simulate an interviewer persona, or provide critique that does not represent the views or practices of any specific employer, company, or industry standard.
We collect the following categories of data in connection with your use of the Service. This section summarizes our practices; our full Privacy Policy governs data collection, retention, and your rights.
Account & Profile Data
Name, email address, role title, experience level, and preferences you set in your account. Used to authenticate you, personalize your experience, and communicate with you about the Service.
Session & Performance Data
Session transcripts, question-and-answer pairs, AI scores (structure, clarity, confidence), session type, role, and completion status. Used to generate your debrief, populate Performance History, and power progress tracking features like streaks, XP, and achievements.
Resume & Career Content
Resume bullet points you submit to Resume Coach, elevator pitch text, and company names you research. Processed to generate feedback and not used for any purpose beyond providing the requested Service feature.
Usage & Interaction Data
Feature interactions, session counts, tool usage frequency, and in-app navigation. Collected via PostHog analytics, only if you accept analytics cookies, to understand how the product is used and improve it. This data is associated with your user ID.
Geographic Location (Approximate)
Country and region inferred from your IP address at the time of account creation and periodically during active sessions. Used for regional product decisions and compliance purposes. We do not collect precise GPS location.
Push Notification Data
If you enable practice reminders, we store your push subscription token and notification preferences. Used solely to deliver the reminders you requested. You can revoke this at any time in Settings.
Payment Data
Payment processing is handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store credit card numbers or full payment details on our servers. We receive confirmation of payment status and subscription tier from Stripe.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties. We do not display advertising in the Service. De-identified and aggregated data may be used to improve AI model performance and platform reliability.
Microphone access is required for voice-based features.
When you use voice-enabled features (Interview Mode with voice input, Conversation Coach, Leadership Rehearsal, or Elevator Pitch Coach), the Service accesses your device microphone through your browser.
How audio is processed. Your voice input is streamed to Google's Gemini Live API for real-time speech recognition and AI response generation. Audio is processed transiently to generate your session response and feedback; we do not retain raw audio recordings beyond what is necessary to complete the interaction.
Transcripts. Text transcripts of voice sessions are stored in your Performance History so you can review past sessions. You can request deletion of your transcript data by contacting us.
Consent. By enabling a voice feature, you consent to audio capture and processing as described. You may use text-based input in place of voice in most features. Microphone permissions can be revoked at any time through your browser settings; doing so will disable voice features only.
Children. We do not knowingly collect voice data from users under 16. If you are between 16 and 18, please review these terms with a parent or guardian before using voice features.
You retain full ownership of all content you submit to the Service, including resume bullets, pitch text, and session responses. By using the Service, you grant Natal Space LLC a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to process, store, and analyze your content solely to provide the Service features you request.
This license does not permit us to sell your content, publish it publicly, or use it to train third-party AI models. We may use de-identified, aggregated patterns derived from user interactions to improve our own AI feedback algorithms and simulation reliability. Such aggregated data cannot identify you individually.
You are responsible for ensuring that any content you submit does not infringe third-party rights, violate confidentiality obligations, or contain personal information of others without their consent.
The Service (including its software, question libraries, simulation logic, scoring algorithms, design systems, and all original content) is the exclusive property of Natal Space LLC and is protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and trade secret laws.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, or publicly display any portion of the Service without our express written permission. Nothing in these Terms grants you any ownership interest in the Service or its underlying technology.
The Service integrates with the following third-party providers. Your use of the Service constitutes acknowledgment that these services may process your data in accordance with their own terms:
We are not responsible for the practices, policies, or failures of third-party services. We will notify users of material changes to our third-party integrations where reasonably practicable.
You may close your account at any time from your profile settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without cause, including but not limited to violations of these Terms, fraudulent activity, or extended account inactivity.
Upon termination, your right to access the Service ends immediately. Data associated with your account may be deleted in accordance with our data retention policies. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination (including intellectual property, disclaimers, and limitation of liability) will remain in effect.
THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, NATAL SPACE LLC AND ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, AND AGENTS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.
IN NO EVENT SHALL OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE SIX MONTHS IMMEDIATELY PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED DOLLARS ($100.00 USD).
SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW CERTAIN LIMITATIONS ON LIABILITY. WHERE SUCH LAWS APPLY, THE LIMITATIONS ABOVE MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will notify active users via email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service and may close your account.
The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will always reflect the most recent revision.
